In the spirit of the holidays, Carlisle Title participated in the Children’s Medical Center Adopt-A-Family program to help make a family’s Christmas brighter. Adopt-A-Family is a holiday gift program coordinated by the hospital’s Social Work Department for Children’s Medical Center patients and their families. Each family in the Adopt-A-Family program has a child being treated for a chronic, critical, or terminal illness. These families have been identified by the social workers as families who would not be able to have a meaningful holiday without assistance from the Adopt-A-Family program due to financial and emotional hardships associated with their child’s illness. The Social Work Department has been running the Adopt-A-Family program since 1987.
This year the program helped give 280 families a Christmas, which we are proud to be a part of. Each branch contributed to a family of five. The mother and her four children received numerous gifts ranging from toys, video games, clothes and shoes.
